Lemon and Almond Tart and Mincemeat pies..... that I made for some friends who came for an evening meal....and for my "girls from Alistairs site" yes he did have custard with the tart!!!!!
Beautiful flowers, Alifan. I've been going to make some mince pies myself for the festive season. They won't look that perfect though. I'm sure they'll be very plain but munchable. Yours are so pretty. I bet they're yum. They MUST improve Dive's view of xmas, surely!
Christmas does change once the boys grow up, Alifan, I agree. As two of mine are at uni, I just pray that they'll all be here with me each year at xmas! I hate it when they're not - I face the awful sharing of them between myself, with their father and of course with their own friends who have the attractive party-a-day over the period. It's hard to compete. lol.

Hi Lynn... the boys used to love Christmas, so did I.. think I might be to blame for their gloom, it is not the same nowadays....
But we still enjoy the food!!!!!my mincemeat this year is rather yum.......even if I say so myself!!!!!
