No Heidi but Jon you did a good job and a nice cup of coffee as well! sorry you had to miss your match!

Garden again…

I was watching the birds in the garden this afternoon also trying to discourage the pigeons who are destroying everything they can and eating all the little birds food! meany me.

Thought that some of the garden looked good even though so much to do…

The Bride is in full show at the moment, you can see the start of the wisteria and the clematis growing up the old stump of the red robin, and my lovely little treasure that shows me its sweet self every year.

The Band gave us a nice amount of different sounds played with their usual talent, with the added vocals from Barry and some harmonica playing by Geoff. Thanks to all.

Thanks to Clover and Chris who did a very nice raffle thanks to those who dig deep and to those who donate prizes, all very much appreciated. The 'boys' of course who fold the tickets…

Heidi doing her smiling behind the bar, always a pleasure. Hope the children have a great Easter.

A couple of birthdays for Janet and Ruth so a nice rendition of Happy Birthday from the band.

Fudge took better photos than me but will pop them on here, no idea why so dark  on some as the flash did annoy everyone!!!
could not get the whole band in as they were well spread out.

HAPPY EASTER TO ONE AND ALL.

Sunshine and family…

Lovely day out David came to pick me up and brought me some of Sainsbury tomatoes which are so yummy and lots more edible things, then he drove us to Philip and Dawns where we had a wonderful day in the sunshine with wine…… also a lamb dish which was so gorgeous with flat bread then eton mess for dessert, considering they had both been unwell for a couple of weeks they did well. Hope you get better soon you two. David and me came home with tasty fresh eggs, how lucky am I.

Dawn loves the sun but as you can see by the photos David does not! the garden is coming along nicely now and the pond settling down…

Great day…thank you three so much, and of course the sunshine was like a summer day.

Chalk and Cheese for sunshine!

Dawn was standing on the step I am not that short!

Sole Bay Jazz Night…

A rather good evening of live music by some talented musicians was had at The Sports Pavilion Ditchingham last night…

And the time of finishing was 10.30pm not 10pm that I put on the blog, but at least it proved that folk do look in even if they do not comment. Still a lot can now check on the Face Book that Fudge has of the group on there.

Thanks to the band who set the volume well so we could hear some great music…sorry to have moaned last week but what an improvement!

As well as the music Barry came in the second half to sing for us, think it gets better each time Barry!

A very good crowd that came to support the band, some new and old faces which is always good, and lovely raffle prizes, thanks to those who donate prizes really appreciated. Clover and Chris for doing the raffle and the 'boys' for folding the tickets.

Nice to see Heidi behind the bar again hope you soon feel better Heidi.
