Thursday ,Jan and Derek and I went to the Flixton Aviation Museum.. Think it had only started when the boys were little and we went there....what a difference... lots of memories there.....
I will put a few pics of that tomorrow, but we did not realise that they had opened a lovely walk down to the river, which you might like to see...
Jan started off ........

She dissapeared into the trees, so we followed... and what a joy it was hope you can get an idea from these....

The boardwalk takes you through wildlife heaven.... and there are signs about the wildlife at each turn.....a lot of work has been put in here....

We are so lucky to have such a place so close and we should have paid more visits, but will in the future.....

We reached the river and there are seats there a beautiful sunny spot, well it was the day we went...

There sat several dragonflies, and this one let me take its photo!!!!

Here is the view from the end of the walk.....
Will put some pics on of the museum later.... and sshh even got a bit of mosaic not as good as Dive's post but very pretty....
Once again thanks Jan and Derek lovely time as always

Idyllic!
I love the dragonfly shot.
All of the wheelchair access paths through our local nature reserves have been built by volunteers. Hoorah for them! They have done a great job.
Great post, Alifan. The walk looks lovely, not so the dragonfly thingy. Ugh. There's something Divesque in this travelogue!
Tee hee Lynn I wonder where he got his love of trees etc!!! and dragonflies are gorgeous......
