The FootWarmers on Sunday …

Well here we go again with a bit of a wobbly video of the Footwarmers Sunday gig at the Beccles Conservative Club.

The music was very good and nice to see a good crowd to support them…A lovely Club, so hope that those coming to see the and hear the music will feel the urge to join, as always with Clubs especially this day and age, if you do not use them you lose them, and we need to support them.

The Band were joined in the second half by Ray Simmons and Chris Capocci, so have done a couple of  videos… stand by to see plenty of the post showing forthcoming events at the Club, but enjoy the fun…

Of course the sound is much better live, but hope you can see they were having fun, which as always makes us as an audience really have a good time.

So thank you all…

More fun video here…Roy likes to tease …enjoy…

Sole Bay Jazz Band…

Yet another great night of live music from the Sole Bay plus friends last night, at the Sports Pavilion Ditchingham.

Lovely to see another good crowd to support these talented musicians, and great to say less loud talking, nice to hear chat, as this is a really friendly place, so thanks everyone, I do understand that I may annoy folk doing the raffle and taking photos, but, the band would not be able to bring such good musicians without it.

Great line up and lots of different jazz, and a few songs from Roy, did love 'Misty'.
Good solos and nice fun between the band which in turn makes us fans enjoy it even more.

Fun video!!

I did try  taking a couple of video's last night of the Sole Bay, but standing up trying to hold a camera still is not good…  should have sat down! so it is very wobbly, however after watching it have decided to put it on here even though it was not a good  effort of mine, the band are having such fun, that I hope it comes across like the fun it was…

Chris is at his best making us all happy…

Sole Bay Jazz plus lots of friends…

This Thursday once again at the Pavilion Sports Centre at Ditchingham …we were treated to another great night of talent and fun… how lucky are we to be able to have such good live music so close to home, with free entry… Even if I do make sure people dig deep for the raffle, as it is what enables the band to keep playing for us…

Once again a great crowd, some new faces among the regular fans,  nice to see.

Kevin…

Simon with feeling!

We always enjoy the talent of our regular musicians…
Tim-Tony-Craig-

This week we had the added pleasure of Simon and Kevin
from Dixie Mix and our own Chris with his trombone great voice, and braces!!

And of course what great fun they had and then ensured that we all enjoyed it to the full…

So many thanks to you all a real pleasure for us all…

My only little niggle comes again …and as it is my blog sorry if it offends…with it doesn't really affect us who like to listen, that people talk,  we all do have a chat I know…however we do have a few who constantly talk right through the whole of the night very loudly…and I was most upset last night (as were a lot of folk)  that when the musicians are doing solos. especially when last night the double bass was being played, some people need to just be a bit less rude and keep their talk quiet! It does spoil it for us…

However I do expect a few folk object to me taking photos and videos as I have to go closer to the band, I do apologise for that, but it does not affect those listening like the loud talk does…

Right my little rant is over…  The Band was magnificent what a great night…

Southwold

A little view of sizewell dome in the distance with the rays of sun…

A very nice little trip out yesterday to Southwold, Jan decided a breathe of sea air would do me good after being stuck indoors for a week…

She was right a nice little walk…then some great soup and bread at Adnams and it blew the cobwebs away…

One step at a time, but at last can see the back of this cough and cold…

COOL BLUE…Sunday 6th

Cool Blue will be playing at the Butcher's Arms Public House this Sunday lunch time …

Always  a good mix of Live Music for your enjoyment…

No one been in touch about who is playing, so guess it is the usual good line up.

time now 18.55

I have just received a call from Les, his wife June apparently had an accident at the gig, and was hurt badly, but he would like me to say she is now out of hospital and resting her bruises …and has been assured all will be well, but I imagine she will be sore for a while yet.

Les would like me to say a big thank you to Lin and all the others who helped June.

So we are all sending you best wishes June and knowing you this will not set you back too much, but sending hugs and all love from me and all the folk who look in here.

Here I am!!

Well I do hope you all missed me? ah well never mind………

Had developed a rotten head cold which left me with a cough as well, so no jazz for me last Thursday, but hear it went well. Thanks Jazz Jan and Sandy for doing the raffle… Now waiting to hear from Alan to see who is playing this week.

In the meantime, last Sunday a great lunchtime of Jazz at the Conservative Club…as I have mentioned in the posts below, David is at the moment putting the videos on u tube, the only problem I can tell at the moment is that u tube has got a wide screen and when he panned in it has cut some heads off, but the music certainly is worth a listen to. I will put the links up as soon as I get them from him.

The weather is glorious today, so hope I can get this thick head outside and enjoy a bit of fresh air.

Hope everyone has a good day…
