Sole Bay Jazz Band Party…

A very busy night at the Sports Pavilion Ditchingham, our 4th Christmas Party there, Thanks to everyone who supported the Band and the Raffle, I do hope you all had a good time.

The music sounded great, personally I did not have much of a chance to sit down much to watch it, good job I could hear it… sorry if I got in the way trying to get to you all…but it was so good to see such a lovely crowd of people joining in with the evening, and thank you all for digging really deep for the raffle, and I hope you liked the array of prizes, thanks also to those who contributed to giving prizes as well, have kept some for the next gig…thought Tim was going to give in when he saw all those on the table, however after a bit of a bad start it all went well. Clover especially thanks to you.

The food was distributed round well… so well done to all who provided it.

Simon came along to sing for us and so happy to see that the family brought Sheila, we have missed her a lot, and like Tim said at the end,  a lot of lovely people were no longer with us and we all miss them, but also as he said nice to see some new fans have joined the Thursday evenings of Jazz so life goes on, and memories are always with us.

Chris came along and gave us a couple of vocals as well, always nice to hear him, and Roy did some songs also Tony P … Great playing as always from everyone… so thanks to all.

Heidi what a grand job you did behind that bar, thank you for your always smiling face, have a great Christmas with your lovely family.

Must also say a big thank you to my lovely tickets folders, could not do without you.

I would like to also wish all our people who are unwell, and to one especially hope all is going well, you know who you are.

I tried a couple of photos, but whenever I pointed the camera someone moved!!!! but will pop them on anyway…

Wishing all of our wonderful Players who have made our Thursday evenings so special, a great Christmas and Happy New Year…and we look forward to starting again in January…

Well done to Alan as well who gets the band together each week for our enjoyment. Not an easy job. See you all in January.
