We thought this lovely flower was a Camellia, although it was rather a large flower.....Very pretty.... pity I did not get the bees in the photo as they were having a good time in it....

I'm sure the flower is a Magnolia Grandiflora - the flowers are quite large and the leaves very glossy - and they flower at this time of year:)
