Winter Glory

Whilst I was sweeping up the leaves in the garden this morning my constant job at the moment…feeling that winter had taken it's grip, I realized that even though some of the garden is asleep this Mahonia bush is very much shining out.
Very very prickly! but glorious flowers…
This morning now the frost has gone the sun is trying to shine as well… Happy Monday…

Your Mahonia looks glorious - I haven't had one for years & seem to remember they are highly perfumed? Maybe time to plant another if I can find a large space! Have been out on Kessingland Beach this am with my Nordic Walking group & it was fantastic down by the sea which was very rough & with a strong wind the cobwebs were well & truly blown away!

Hi Sandy, Goodness you are good bet it was nice by the sea although very windy as it is here, just popped outside and more leaves ready to be swept up ah well…
