Sole Bay Jazz Band with friends…

A great night of very melodic Jazz and Blues from the Sole Bay Jazz Band and friends at The Sports Pavilion, Ditchingham.

Sorry did not add Ray on the line up but was not expecting him …however lovely playing from him on the piano as always…Tim keeping them all in line, some really lovely sounds from sax and clarinet…and it was one of those good music and fun evenings which we love. Always good to see Bill in the line up, great playing… Alan really enjoying himself on guitar and the banjo…Tony on that string bass some nice solo playing…Craig, bless had a terrible cough and cold but did well the first half, then Jason came along to help with the drumming, and was very good, thanks for that Jason…fitted in well…Barry giving us some lovely vocals added to the mix.

Thanks to Clover for doing the raffle (Christine hope you feel better soon) thanks Don and Jan for folding the tickets…

Happy Emily behind the bar, thanks for your help as always…

I was again saddened with the loud chatting especially during the solo playing and singing, however it is a social evening, just a pity more people do not talk 'quietly' and listen to the music instead, and that is my opinion and my blog so you can not deny me writing it!!!!

Glad you had a nice birthday Jen …

Sending get well messages to all those who are not feeling well, we are missing some lovely people who are now unable to get to jazz but we do think of you all.

We said goodbye to Horace on Monday a real gentleman gone with all those other jazzers to look down on us.

A few photos, and Fudge has some good ones on FB for those who look in there.

sorry about the head! could not crop this one…
