Sole Bay Jazz Band

Halloween at the Sports Pavilion Ditchingham last evening, was fun with some really good live music and singing.

As they always do The Coven Table came into their own,  also allowed me to be part of the hat wearing , which proved to be a bit of fun, certainly managed to get a nice lot of raffle money for the band!

Which I will just mention here, that from next week, Tim and I will be managing the raffle, with of course the help from the folders and friends… Dear Keith was going to hand it over last Christmas but he did manage until the week before he left us all, (although he will always be there at the jazz), Simon has been carrying on, but the busy young man has now handed it over, thanks Simon for all you have done.  Tim and I will try to keep the books and the raffle going for everyone, and if I am unable to get there, we have a back up plan with a very nice lady who lives close, and I will gradually get her acclimatised to all your little raffle secrets over the coming weeks.

I must say a big thank you to those who do give prizes for the raffle and we look forward to that continuing in the future so that we can raise as much money to help Alan find  musicians that keep the band coming along each week to entertain us all.

Our thanks to Sheila who has donated the money which was outstanding to Keith, into the kitty for the future, so lovely to see her their each week, and long may it continue.

Such a nice friendly evening and the talkers stayed at the back ( unfortunately upsetting a few)… But a nice musical evening, with Simon giving us some good vocals as well as  Tony P…

A few photos from Simon (thanks) and me…The witches with Ian's head in the way ha ha,
Jean always closes her eyes! you were all great thank you…Looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos…

Heidi doing a grand job as always…Lovely evening with  friends thanks to all…

So glad to see a few of our (invalids) coming back also those who are still bandaged up, so sorry that some of the regular fans are still too poorly to come along, but I know they are thinking of us all, and we of them. Also one person to mention good luck to …one of our plucky men who has to face yet another operation, good luck …you know who you are, and we wish you well.
