Just finished this cake .....two tier fruit.....when the customer called for it, a close shave this time!!!!
This is a Madeira to be cut for those who do not like fruit cake.....very hard to get a nice finish as the cake is rather soft.. still looks OK and I had to cut the top off to level so I know it tastes good!!!!
Middle tier .....Dive managed to find the Macro for the close up's hope they come out better now....

Thanks folks.. they are made with edible flower paste Lupine Lady, but would not advise you eat them as I wire them!!!

I never thought about it before, but do you sample what you bake very often? I certainly would.
