The above is a cake I made for my sister in law Jeannie and her great grandson.. apparently it went down well!
This is one of the hardest decorations I have had a go at, not exactly AI but I tried and they were really pleased with it, which is the main thing....

When you said you had to make an accordion cake I almost fell over. You made a pretty good job of it, though.
I'm glad they liked it.
Not A1? What on earth do you mean? I am about to send a Christmas cake I made to my parents (what to put it in, how to pack it????) and, as you know, I don't go in for 'neat'. It has fondant icing dripping down the sides in like rough snow drift design. I'm telling you Alifan; this is A1.
Thanks Lynn...and you too Dive....hope you have had a good day with Mikey...
Yes, I agree with Lynn - definitely A1 !!
I would so love to take a huuugggeee bite!
The accordion is great, Alifan. Of course they liked it.
I keep trying telling you you're one clever lady...if you made a cake in the shape of a dustbin, it would still look perfect. ((hugs))
Love that accordian, it looks great with all those musical notes dotted around the cake.

Just looked down and my verification word is....unnabins lol!
Pat bless you xxx
p.s. My parents adore the cake I made and sent! I know they would, but they said it was the best xmas cake ever! (glowing with pride)
Well done Lynn.....
Sorry to be commenting on an older post, B, but I'm so pleased to see you're still making the cakes and so beautifully too. I like the musical one of course! I saw something today that made me think of you - see the stitchin bints blog.
