London Trip again

Not very good photo taken against the sun, but very moving tribute to our troops, what a shame war is still going on , do we never learn......
Big Ben as we walked along the embankment in the morning....
The rear of Westminster Abbey very pretty......
Dive and Robyn who we went to meet, and well worth it she is a lovely person outside the Tate..
A wet and windy me in St James Park on the way to the underground, we had good weather up till then....
Dive put me in the middle of the road in the Mall, but as I had the Japanese groceries, he made sure I was safe!!!!!
Me, Elizabeth, Robyn and Lovely Daughter no2 outside Westminster Abbey
Us again the sun was shining but very windy.....

So thank you Son for a great day, apart from the blisters which I seem to have, but then we did rather a lot of walking......It was really good..

A few moments............ Meeting up with Robyn........

I think the Quiet Moment of Prayer in Westminster Abbey at 11am, when so many people of all races stopped to hear the prayer and it was so silent you could have heard a pin drop........

Lighting a candle in the Abbey.....

The Tate... wonderful pictures, but the protest room was so scary but moving.....so glad to have seen that....

Horseguards...... Piccadilly....... St James Park, well everything really.... wonderful time.....

Have a safe journey home Robyn and family.......

Alifan - you wrote: "she is a lovely person outside the Tate" - what happened - did she disgrace herself when inside it? Just kidding!!
