Sole Bay Jazz Band …Party night!

Glad to see a nice crowd coming along last evening to The Sports Pavilion, Ditchingham. to support The Sole Bay Jazz Band, with some special guests.  Those who could not make it missed a really good night!

It was a very different night of music, with guests Martin and Lindsey making it more like a big band sound, everyone upped their game,  and the music and singing was fantastic, so good to see all the band really enjoying themselves. I certainly did! Nice to have Martin's wife sitting with us, great that some wives come to support their hard working men.

Great playing and when they asked young Henry in the second half to join them,  it is so good to see this young man fit in and be welcomed by such veterans of live music, it warms the heart …he loved it as did we. ( ha ha Clive yes we treat him like a Son)

Great playing as always from our great back line and Ray with his piano… plus he did bring the cornet right at the end always a good vibe with that. it just kept getting better.

Lindsey giving us some nostalgic songs, she has great presence we all felt so much more lively with her bubbly singing. It did seem strange without our Barry singing but no fear he will be back next week.

Christine with Janice collected the raffle money ( which as you well know helps with getting such talent each week) thank you as always for digging deep, I must say you all got your raffle monies worth with the jazz last night, it was first class. we did miss our Clover, get well soon Clover. Thanks as always for Don and Duncan folding those tickets as well.

Our Emily was not well last night  (get better soon Em.) so Kelly took over bless her, first time with that lovely but slow coffee machine, well done young lady.

Fudge has some great photos on FB, which are taken with her lovely phone…my dear camera and computer take a lot longer to get on here, but hope you can see it was a good line up.
