Fun night with Sole Bay Jazz and guests…

A very good evening of live music from the Sole Bay Jazz Band and guests…

A lively fun night with all the band enjoying themselves, which in turn makes the evening really enjoyable for us fans.

Such talent for the price of a raffle ticket, which brings me to say, these talented musicians come along every Thursday evening to play for us, and the raffle plus the bar enables Alan to get some different line ups…

Unfortunately the audience seems to be getting smaller as the band gets bigger, and more talented, we have such a great family atmosphere there at Ditchingham, and we all do our best to attend weekly, unless of course illness prevents us; so if any of you who reads this blog and Fudges FB sole bay, please try and get along as often as you can to keep this going… live music will only keep going if we go to the gigs and as there is no entry fee, please give as much as you can for raffle tickets, I know so many of you really pay a good price so thank you for that, and Clover and Christine collects as much as possible, but if we want the band to continue weekly some of us will have to dig a little deeper … good raffle prizes … great music and a bar who could want more. So please talk to people about the live music and let us get a better amount of people coming along to enjoy.

Thanks Don for folding all those tickets…

Some very nice singing from our Barry, and  the band as always giving their all, and nice to welcome Johnny Herbert this week with some very smooth saxophone, who fitted in very well, even the cornet came out from Ray at the end… so a really great evening.

Lovely to see Emily back behind the bar always a joy…

A few photos and Fudge has some great ones on FB…
