Sole Bay Jazz night…

A lovely evening of Jazz …Blues and Fun at The Sports Pavilion Ditchingham with The Sole Bay Jazz Band and friends… much more like the past times.

Tim playing saxophone/clarinet really good …Trummy with Trombone and Euphonium…Craig looking refreshed and playing some great drums…Alan busy on guitar/banjo and looking happy…Tony on that double bass sounding so good with Barry on piano and vocals very nice indeed.

Lots of music Barry was not used to as Tim picked some really different tunes however Trummy and Alan on hand to help also Tim being him managed to keep things light saying also a lot of keys that Barry wanted to play in they did not know! and it was a fun night everyone in the band seemed to gel so well, so a real pleasure.

I was a bit grumpy because some loud talking when the solos were being played, but always get reminded that it is a social night ha ha old school me!

Sadly a lot of our (old school) folk are off ill at the moment, so from all your Jazz Friends get better soon take care of yourselves and come back when you can.

A small crowd but those of you who were there dug deep for the raffle and as usual  Clover and Christine did a grand job of that.

Thanks Emily always a smile and a help.

Thanks band it was a really good night… think Tony will have some videos and Fudge has photos on FB mine did not come out well but will post one anyway.
