FANTABULOUS…

Yes it is a word, and yes it did apply to last nights gig at the Pavilion Ditchingham…

The Sole Bay were having a break for a week,  Romping Roy and his rhythm friends came along to entertain us, and they certainly did that!

An evening of all sorts of music, Ballads, Blues, Jazz, Swing…lots of wonderful vocals, great crowd that turned out on a hot summer night… our usual great regular fans boasted by some new faces as well, amazing…Thanks Emma you worked hard behind that bar…and as always June for the lift…

Cannot believe it have missed Tony off the photos our wonderful String bass player …will have to get one with your head up one of these days Tony, but great playing…

Jenny you are improving so much each time you sing, what pleasure after all you have been through to see you and hear that voice coming back…

Everyone played and sang so well and some great different songs… old and new…wanted to get up and dance but I was not so busy watching the band!  did notice when Route 66 was being played a lot of foot tapping going on! Peter with his guitar, ( everyone knows how much I love the guitar)…and he is very good…Ian and Roy their usual soft and sexy saxophone playing…Barry of the wonderful voice with such different arrangements and piano playing… as I said our Tony with his magic bass… Dave playing some solo drums as well… Chris joining for a few numbers… so there if you missed it you missed a great night…

What a load of fun and great music,  and I believe Roy said they would be back beginning of August, so put that in your diary…

Lovely to see Neil back even with his stick, get well wishes to some of our regulars that have been unable to get to the jazz of late, hurry back we miss you…

Thank you Roy and friends and to those who come and support live music each week thank you all…

A great set of pics B & couldn't agree more with all your comments. It was a brilliant night & we really enjoyed all the music - a great selection of tunes. Thanks to the band (plus Jenny & Chris) for giving us such an entertaining evening. Looking forward to the next time. 1st ticket out in the raffle too!!!
