Southwold day out!

Today was very different from my usual shopping on a Friday morning, after a great night of Jazz  Tim thought a good walk was in order…

I have had a great day …interesting so hope some of the photos give a hint of a very nice walk…
Of course the Southwold Huts
From the pier…
Skies…
John Barber the town cryer…
Not old but cute…
The Harbour…
This one is for you June…
These next two are 'Dusso' and John…
Who several jazz folk will know…
What a lovely long walk from the common to the pier and back into town, great company, a wonderful yummy lunch and a walk by the harbour, ending up at the museum and it was open so a good look round there, then back along the harbour…

Thanks Tim for a great day out really loved it, so glad you had the idea, good to think of me…hope you enjoyed it as much as me, and also thank you for our lovely lunch and all the information about Southwold I did not know.

You really are getting bloody good with that camera.

Well our coastline is rather spiffy to take isn't it.

I liked the one taken from the pier as the huts look good when enlarged. still a lot to learn though.

Brilliant photos B - the enlarged panoramic shot of the huts is really good. Must have a look in museum - great old pics of John Winter & dad. Neil always calls John 'Dusso' so guess he inherited the name. Still haven't been to the cinema though would love to. You really did have a good walk!

Glad you liked the photos, I must admit Tim found the ones of John and his Dad, in fact it was all very interesting learned a lot.

It was a great walk although the wind was rather sharp, I had to resort to a scarf down by the harbour, think Tim thought he was with his Gran tee he!
