Just thought you would like to see the buffet we prepared for my sister in laws wake yesterday....lots of baking, but it went well, a good send off to Jeannie...
Thanks to Phyllis and Ivan for all their help. lovely to see all the relatives, shame that we only meet at funerals and weddings.....Dive and Full did me proud as usual... really strange to see how everyone is older, oh dear me included....

Thanks Debbie, Dive and Full enjoyed the food I think!!!They have some good memories, if a little weird of their Auntie Jean.......they may tell you one day...
I'm not sure if "doing you proud" involved pigging five full plates of buffet food, but it was so yummy I couldn't resist.

It's always sad when a loved one leaves but a good send-off is such a comfort; a celebration of a life well lived. The buffet looks fabulous; full of love!
I was sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Your buffet looks wonderful, though.
