It would have been my Mothers birthday yesterday, this is a rose called Evelyn May, her name, and it smells delicious....my dear Jan bought me and my brothers each one, after Mum passed away, and they are really lovely..

Lovely flowers. I tried growing begonias once, but it's too hot here, I guess. I love roses that have a nice aroma...otherwise what's the point? Unfortunately, I have too much shade to grow roses.

Thanks Cynthia and Lupine Lady.. I have just had to water with the hose, all my water butts are on empty, we have not had any rain for quite a while and I hate to see the plants die....
