Good morning Jazzers…

Another Thursday without the Sole Bay Jazz Band, but let us hope that soon all will be much better and we can meet up again and enjoy good music,

Hope you are all staying safe and not mixing with others, mmm that is very hard, and very bad for mental health, however we must try our best and take one day at a  time, and pray that one day our country will be more back to normal.

I hear a few of you have already had the vaccine injection, I have had my first one this morning. Just getting warm with a nice cup of tea back home. They were very good at Reydon but a long way to go when one is nervous, my lovely daughter in law took me, they were very well organised there, but very glad did not have to go on a bus, as it was very cold and windy, and had to wait a while after we got there as there was a medical emergency… whoops just what one does not need after being stuck indoors for weeks and it is your first outing! But they were good although the fifteen minutes, seemed more like an hour as they had all the windows open, but did some deep breathing and made sure I did not start thinking ' am I feeling any different' all in the mind if someone tells you you may be ill one thinks one will! So next one booked for April!

Neil sent me some great photos again, so thanks to him also for always being there for me, lovely to hear from Sandy as well, how we miss people.

Nice chat with Duncan yesterday, he has had his jab…and glad to say Colin seems to be about the same, also had call from June and Les, they are doing fine and have their vaccine jabs tomorrow. Waiting to hear from Craig as well a promised phone call. Do keep in touch if you would like to have something put on here, Tony Nicholls does put some great music of the band on Face Book, but not everyone has FB.

Here goes with some photos…
