Tim with saxophones and clarinet teaming with Derek on the front line, with Ray on the piano…Alan guitar/banjo…Craig drums and Tony on his string bass…our wonderful back line… put it together with Barry (even though still not fully recovered) sang some rather yummy songs, joining them (and thank you sole bay) to invite Henry our young saxophonist giving him another chance to play with such a talented band …lovely to see the young with the hhhmmmm older? together.
A very entertaining evening and lovely to see a good crowd coming to support the band, digging deep with the raffle, thanks to Christine and Clover for your hard work and of course Duncan and Don for folding the tickets.

I was so carried away with the music I forgot to to take photos until rather late, so did manage a few missed Barry (sorry) but may borrow some later from Fudge who has some good ones on her FB SBJ post.
There have been some posters made hoping to encourage and reach more folk to come along and enjoy the band, although I do not have many comments on here I still like to post as know a lot of people do look in, even though sometimes I feel I am just doing it for me!!!! and Fudge does her posts on FB. So please when you are out and about pass the word around about the Sole Bay Jazz Band evenings as one knows if you do not use it you lose it.

yes it was a very enjoyable evening, shame more people do not comment on your blog, maybe they are not sure how to do it?
