Went for a nice walk in the very bitter cold wind, but gorgeous sunshine yesterday. This tree is usually surrounded with grass!and this is not the river but the park near it! ice still on the water and would be a cold damp picnic!
Lots of fishermen .. not a lot of fish being caught! but a lot of very cold men!
More ice...on the park...but the sun as I said was lovely.

I made the same mistake: looking out of the window at the lovely blue sky and going, "Oooh, I must go for a walk!"
By the time I had wandered in to the village my lungs were full of ice.
Brr!
