Birds and flowers

Just took a few pics of the baby starlings on the bird station and wondering whether to have a bath or not!!
Maybe when there are two of us?
Or even a few more!
OK lets get wet!!!
Sunshine in the garden...
And my favourite poppy which comes out to see me each year.

Your garden is lovely. I can see why you like these poppies so much. My favorite poppy is one called Turkinlouis and is bright scarlet with the petal edges shredded. Right now my poppies have huge buds and one has the tiniest bit of orange showing. Unfortunately we have a forecast of three days of rain.

Hello Lupine Lady lovely to see you popping in, hope you are well, I have had a poppy like the one you describe, but never knew the name of it so thank you...

Rather busy at this time of the year, as my garden is organized chaos!!!it goes mad now and again, too much in it really!

Beryl - your garden looks lovely - the starlings are cute and I absolutely love those poppies - the colour is fantastic - poppies are one of my favourite flowers. Sorry not been popping in as often as I would like - must try harder x

Lesley my dear lovely to see you... remiss of me as well.. this weather is making the garden grow so fast, do not have time to sit in front of the computer...

Funny you should say that, Alifan. My poppies (only 3 out so far!) don't seem so tall or strong this year. Wonder why? I have lots of buds though :)
