North Norfolk

Yesterday I went on our OAP's coach outing to Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast, it is a pretty town, the sea is wild and rough there, and although it was fine weather yesterday it was not very sunny so the sea was not a good subject!!
This shot is for Dive!!! he always likes the tops of buildings, because believe me under these lovely buildings are such things as "fish and chips" and "amusements" and "second hand goods" so have cropped it!!!!
Nearly missed taking this photo of the steam train leaving the station for Holt further up the coast.....oh the memories of the old steam trains. This is a very popular journey to take for the visitors....

Dive would be better off on one of those instead of his long train journey's on the modern railway he takes to work in London!!!!

Forgot to take the photo of our wonderful fresh crab salad, we were so impressed with the Thai restaurant where they were doing a special on the crab, and it was just great...mmmmm

Thanks for the Edwardian buildings! The crappy modern shop fronts do spoil them.
Hoorah for the steam train! It is much faster and more reliable than my stupid inter city service.

Yup. I'm scraping the barrel now.
Pop on over to Robyn's. She has some flowers that we hope you can identify.

What beautiful buildings! And it's a great trick to crop out any tacky stores that ruin the photo. But for me it's fun to see what sorts of shops you have across the pond. Sounds like it was a fun trip.
