Hello Jazzers…

Thanks to Neil, can write up a little blog about last evening at Jazz! Looking forward to getting back myself, but Neil is good to keep me in touch.

He has written…The Sole Bay Band are always consistent, producing another evening of great entertainment. As previously posted they were supported this week with two guests; Barry Langston (keyboard/vocals) and Bill Brewer (trombone). We also enjoyed the occasional humorous exchanges between band members and the audience which added to the good natured atmosphere.

Neil thinks there were about 40-45 present and these numbers allowed for reasonable spacing between tables. In his opinion this and other caution still needs to be respected, in view of the rising covid levels (which I agree with wholeheartedly I went to shop today and a lot of younger people were not wearing masks even though it says at the Co-op masks should still be worn!!!) just saying.

Thanks to Clover, Chris and Emily for providing additional support - notable they wore masks at appropriate times. Miss you ladies.

Sounds like a really good evening of entertainment.

Neil also sent a great photo of our Tony …not with his double bass… very talented gentleman.

I have borrowed a photo from Fudge as well. I know a lot of people follow the Face Book which is great but like to think they also look at the blog for those who do not use FB.

Looking forward to receiving mail from Alan during the week for next weeks line up which will pass to Fudge to put on her Sole Bay FB page.

Stay safe one and all…Happy Birthday to Don for yesterday …
