Thursday again!

 Another Thursday without the Sole Bay Band live… but thanks to Neil and a few memories from my photos hope you will enjoy the blog…

Nearly the end of March, strange that even stuck at home all this time, the days are flying by… thanks to all those who do keep in touch …much appreciated…

Lots of aches and pains here …noticing more when cannot do so much…and not meeting up with people but hopefully soon be able to actually talk to friends face to face… I have put on weight …hair far too long… slippers more often worn instead of high heels… joggers and no dressing up or make up whoops will have to get myself in order or no one will recognise me!

However have been doing a bit of gardening, love my little garden but now I am finding it harder to keep nice so it is a wild one to start with so may have to revert to letting it go it's own way, lawn is about 6'' high at the moment but nice and green!!!! Waiting for Blackbirds eggs to hatch! Doves courting are cute… Robins…Blue tits…Blackbirds singing away…but do not like the pigeons !

Hope everyone is managing to keep well and happy…

Our Norwich Peregrines have four eggs now so fingers crossed all will be well when the chicks hatch…

Have been entertained by watching Alistair on Face Book also Dixie Mix every fortnight…they will be playing again1st April…but so looking forward to live face to face…in the meantime……………Enjoy…

Dixie Mix

 Thought I would just pop a bit on about last nights show…with Dixie Mix …So good to see and hear the lads again and they were great …playing some super music… I have shared it to my time line if anyone wants to look. 

Nice to chat with Fudge as well… we all miss live music, so these sessions on FB make us feel happier. Also sang along with "So do I"

Another Thursday

 Good morning Jazzers… Hope this finds you all in good health, and that a nice lot of you have had at least your first vaccine jab, to help us all trying to keep this virus down.

Another week without our live music… but thank goodness for some on Face Book… Once again must say Alistair has done us proud and last night we had an Irish evening that was good and mad as always… Hope I can manage to share them to my timeline! Dixie Mix 7pm Alistair 8pm xxx

Good news this morning from Norwich Peregrines the first egg this year has arrived.

Also have received some nice photos from Terry and Jenny, looking nice and young thank you xx and FB has done me proud this last week as nearly every day have received photos from memories from 3 to 6 years old hope you enjoy.

Some you may have seen before but always nice to have good memories.

Morning Jazzers!

 Good morning to all who look in on here for the giggle photos! also to keep in touch with our jazz folk…and this week we have a few… thanks Neil for yours, it is good to have some memory ones of lovely people. so come on jazzers let's have some from you as well.

I do hope you are all staying safe and looking forward to meeting a few people outside, well, if we get some decent weather.  I am a bit  tired this morning after the weather decided to find every thing that could could go bang  'banged' around the place in this wind. Hope it eases off soon.

Thanks for all who keep in touch… One of these days we will be able to meet up again hopefully, so suppose better start looking after the way I dress! gone are the high heels and pretty clothes, so now realise I have to dress to the age! but maybe should ditch the slippers!!!ha ha when I look in the mirror I sometimes wonder who that person is, do you feel that to.? Looking forward to seeing my hairdresser! Of course as I love baking and cooking the next thing is to stop eating so much!!!!!! Have done a little gardening but realise even that is so hard… however lots of things to keep interested in, started my painting cards up again…sorting old photos…love reading…and of course listening to the music! I know a lot of you are busy doing jigsaws, so hope soon we can get out and about and start living a bit more.

 Well done boys a rather good set …really enjoyed it, worn out now with dancing about and grinning from ear to ear. look forward to 2 weeks time. Also look forward to my hugs!!!!

Morning Jazzers…

Good morning all you jazzers… March is here and we are slowly getting towards being able to actually see and speak to people face to face, ( maybe with face masks).

Let us hope it will not be long before we can have live music to listen to and actually be there. But in the meantime, we do have Face Book to help us see live music, and this evening Dixie Mix will once again be playing for us at 7 pm… Alistair did a live session last night at 7pm.

Then amazingly the memories that FB digs up from my posts…have given me a nice lot of photos to put on here today! from 6years to recent, so hope you enjoy.
