Once again Southwold!!!!!!

Tonight Jan and Derek took me to Southwold we fancied fish and chips, they of course were yummy!!!!!!!then Ice cream......

Of course we had to go for a walk afterwards........Could not resist the sun going down....with the reflection on the water. Southwold Pier as you know is a great favourite of ours.....

Before it got misty and moody we watched a bit of cricket.....

The water tower looking a bit different to the other day, the sky looked gorgeous...

So Derek and I decide to play silly fools

Then Jan checked to see if he was still OK at least that was what I thought she was doing.....

Visit to friends

Jan and I went to visit some friends and this is the view from the patio, at the bottom of the garden it is fields, and open countryside, great.... good company.... and a nice cuppa Ray!!!!

And this is Reece... he is so friendly.. and well behaved.....even if he wanted our cake!!!!

Visit ...

I had a visit from some friends at the weekend, it was a surprise to say the least, had not seen them for over 2 years......but we had fun, even though I only have a little one bedroomed bungalow, it is amazing how you can fit everyone in to sleep (thanks Jan for loaning me the bedding)!!!!!!!!and Jan and us three went to our favourite place , yes Southwold again!!!!! They will probably never speak to me again when they see this.......but it was really windy off the north sea....even though the sun was shining......on the pier as I have said before, people put little messages on brass plates, and they make fascinating reading....they were reading those not thinking of jumping in!!!!!!!

As you can see even the fishermen were well wrapped up against the wind.......

And this is Kate's new car which the 3 of them are hugging.......one of the reasons for them turning up to show me ..............we went down to the harbour, will hope Kates pics came out better than mine.... but you can can see we are still as mad as ever.........and yes we had fish and chips of course.......!!!!!!!!!!!!

North Norfolk

Yesterday I went on our OAP's coach outing to Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast, it is a pretty town, the sea is wild and rough there, and although it was fine weather yesterday it was not very sunny so the sea was not a good subject!!

This shot is for Dive!!! he always likes the tops of buildings, because believe me under these lovely buildings are such things as "fish and chips" and "amusements" and "second hand goods" so have cropped it!!!!

Nearly missed taking this photo of the steam train leaving the station for Holt further up the coast.....oh the memories of the old steam trains. This is a very popular journey to take for the visitors....

Dive would be better off on one of those instead of his long train journey's on the modern railway he takes to work in London!!!!

Forgot to take the photo of our wonderful fresh crab salad, we were so impressed with the Thai restaurant where they were doing a special on the crab, and it was just great...mmmmm

This morning rain was supposed to arrive, it has not come yet, so thought I would take a photo of the flower carpet roses before the rain ruins them!!!!
