Christmas…
I have no idea where the year has gone, it has flown by I know that.
I wish all my lovely blogger friends (who even though they may not comment I know they are looking in) a Very Happy and Wonderful Christmas and Healthy New Year…
My thoughts as I prepare a lovely Christmas meal for family to all those who are lonely, alone, sad or unhappy for many reasons …just to remember… Yesterday is gone (apart from all good memories) tomorrow is in the hands of God …so remember to just enjoy the day you are in and try to make it the best you can.
Thank you to all my lovely friends and family for always being there for me.
Have a lovely Christmas xx

SOLE BAY JAZZ BAND EVENING…
Every Thursday evening at the Sports Pavilion Ditchingham The Sole Bay Jazz Band plays for some dedicated regular friends and new comers… It is always really good… wonderful talented playing and vocals…sometimes exceptional, and last evening was one of those.
Everyone in the band looked so happy and loads of interaction some terrific numbers played with gusto…Which of course brings forth some really good reaction from us lucky listeners…
One would have to pay a good entrance fee to hear such talent, we just buy raffle tickets…so well done Band you were on a roll…very enjoyable.
The raffle and the bar help to get these fine musicians every week to entertain us, so pleased that so many of you dig deep to get your tickets thank you, Clover and Christine do a great job each week collecting your money, thank you as always to 'the boys' who fold the tickets.
Heidi with always a smile serving us drinks etc so what more can one want…
Some very nice people who are not as well nowadays this is to tell you we do miss you all …
A few photos so many in the band so could not get them all at once, and will have to go and find one of our drummer who does not appear on here!!!oh dear not good photos Craig sorry will do better next week!!! although Fudge did manage a good photo on the Sole Bay Jazz Band site on Face Book.
Thank you to all those who do still follow my blog, I do sometimes wonder if it is read but every week someone mentions they do and have lots of followers without names on the stat counter…so have decided to keep it going for the time being.

Thanks to Heidi always a big help and a smiling face.
Not as many folk there this week, but nice to see a few new faces… Sending hugs to all those who could not be there because of illness. Come back soon, we are a real family of live music lovers and we do miss those who cannot be with us.
Today a few of us went to say our farewells to one of the 'gang' …a nice send off to Ray… gone to listen to the jazz in another world with all the others.
For some reason my camera is not behaving but here is one that was not too bad.

Remember…
Remembering all those who are lost but always in our hearts…
I hope that the young people remember that they do have it so good… and that they have a choice to go in the forces unlike the many who lost their lives did.
Also they think about what has happened in the past and still happening in the present wars.
Today so many bad things are happening in our country. I just pray that somehow everything may improve, but we can all do our best to ensure that we love family and friends… that is so important.

Sole Bay Jazz Band…
Another great night of live music by the Sole Bay Jazz Band at
The Sports Pavilion…Ditchingham…
I love the band and appreciate them very much but I did not feel it such a fun night between them this week … maybe not as laid back as usual ( as always do not bite this is my opinion only… ever the critic me) However some great music and always so talented… we all much appreciate that every Thursday they come along and play for us…How lucky are we.
A good crowd turned out some new faces as well which is always good to see…thanks to one and all who contributed to the raffle as this helps so much with getting these fine musicians to play for us every week.

Sole Bay Jazz Band Halloween …
Another great night of live music by talented musicians at The Sports Pavilion Ditchingham.
It certainly gelled last night…some really wonderful playing and lots of fun as well, from all six players…
Halloween is not something I agree with as too commercial …however always nice to have a fun night, and we have such great people who come along regularly to the jazz so we like to make it magic!!!
Not such a big crowd however nice that you all dug deep for the raffle, well done to Clover and Christine and you looked good! Thanks to the boys as always for the ticket folding…
'The Coven table' always dress up so good to see them do that and some extra ghoulish things on the table this year…I do not mean the people… well I know how some people read things on here!!!!! I know several folk took photos and hope some came out better than mine but it was a laugh.
Thanks Heidi always smiling hope the children have a good halloween…
Missed you Fudge, however Dad made me have a good laugh he was great…
I do hope all those who are not feeling well soon improve, as we lost another nice gentleman who sadly passed away this week, the music keeps us young but sadly ill health seems to be claiming some of our dear friends this year again.
So always look to having fun while we can…
