Thursday 20th October at The Sports Pavilion Ditchingham, The Sole Bay Jazz Band and Friends…provided a good crowd of regulars and some new faces with a great night of very upbeat talented music, Thanks gentlemen such chemistry and fun.
There was singing as well as the music …although Tony had a bad throat so it was down to Simon…also the cornet and trumpet playing you kept them going young man… with Derek playing well and adding as usual some funny little bits of music in the middle of the tunes which always bring a grin to us who listen! Tony P as well as looking so good played that trombone with gusto, Tony J on the string bass even looked up a nice lot and good solos …Alan on guitar and banjo and a nice grin on his face really getting with it, of course the drumming wow Craig it was so good thank you…All in all a great night…
Thanks to Clover for doing the raffle and the 'boys' for the ticket folding…also of course you all for digging deep to help towards Alan finding these fine musicians each week…A nice lot of donations for the raffle from some folk thank you so much for that. All to keep us enjoying these Thursday evenings of live music with good friends.
Lovely Heidi kept busy even without our Fudge! hope the cold soon gets better x.
I have to say we had some sad news about one of our dear regulars, and I know a few people are suffering from illness, so for everyone we send love and pray you will be able to fight that dreaded disease…and come along when you can to relax with the music.
