This week the Sole Bay Jazz Band played to a good crowd at the Sports Pavilion Ditchingham…
A different mix again brought with it some lovely music and singing which we all enjoyed…
A lot of chatting all through the music again but suppose we must expect that …it is a social club after all, although a bit rude when a soloist is playing… but most people really
enjoyed the evening…
We had as well as Simon Nelson singing, Chris Capocci came along, great character is Chris, and then Mel Cox sang his …what I call his Ipswich melody! Nice that the whole band joined in with some nice silly melodies!
Great playing it all gelled rather well so another great evening of live music…
Nice to see Sheila looking a bit more like her lovely self, strange for her and everyone that Keith is not sitting there, but he is there in spirit…
Still missing a few of the regulars who are unwell so hope they all soon feel well enough to attend soon…
Thank you to everyone for digging deep for the raffle, nice that it is for the band but also nice that we have a good giggle about it.
Working well… our Heidi behind that bar again…nice smile as always…
Nice to see newly engaged and young folk…Jess and Ted, sorry the song choice that came after the announcement was Someday you'll be sorry…but what a great happy evening for you all, have to say well done Fudge for the speech!
Oh yes and well done Robin for once again running yet another marathon and coming 2nd in your age group, great respect.
Thanks to one and all, and as always will say how lucky we are to have such fine musicians to play for us each week… Thank you Sole Bay Band…
