Yet another good evening of live music from the Sole Bay Jazz Band… at the Sports Pavilion…Ditchingham.
Only 5 musicians but sounding great…
I did take some photos but they were all rather blurred, even without any alcohol …me not the camera…
Tim and Trummy on the front line and our intrepid 3 on the back… Alan, Tony and Craig, and for a couple of numbers Gary took to the drums…
Roy came and gave us a couple of vocals as well, so a good evening.
Nice crowd, some new and some regulars, of course the weather was rather warm and everyone got over heated, the poor band were suffering, as only the fire doors that were open and one of them kept getting closed, only thing is they are fire doors and should not be sat in front, but we do get such a good crowd it is hard for that not to happen…Lots of loud chat again, but as we are at the front does not bother us to much, but glad to say when Mood Indigo was being played it was nice and quiet…
Thanks Heidi hope you can have a cool fan next week, although knowing our weather it may be cool again by then, you worked hard well done. We all need an extra intake of liquid on these humid days and nights.
Lovely to be among friends listening to talented musicians…Thanks Sole Bay you did is proud.
