Goodness me this year seems to be flying by, and not a very flaming June so far!
But we do have our Thursday night Live Music session at the Sports Pavilion, Ditchingham to look forward to, this week another different line up.
Tim Densham…Saxophone/Clarinet…
Allan Bradley Cornet/Trumpet…
Ray Simmons…Piano…
Tony Jullings…String Bass…
Alan Cugnoni…Guitar/Banjo…
Dave Taylor…Drums…
Hopefully we will have Simon to give us some Vocals, and a good crowd to cheer them on.
Great to have such talent close to home, with no entrance fee, so do not forget to bring money for the raffle!!!! hint hint, as that way we can keep getting such good live music once a week.
8pm-10.30pm

Friday 19th
Another good night of live music at the Sports Pavilion…
Thanks to those who came along to support, rather smaller crowd than usual but holidays and sickness are the cause, so all those who are unwell I do hope you soon improve and able to come back to hear the Jazz. June… Peter…John, and anyone else of our crowd, hurry back. Also hope you are enjoying your belated honeymoon Fudge missed you.
I do apologise that I missed Derek Cubitt off the line up, sorry Alan I did not read the e mail right! , I shall be more careful in future.
So a different theme last night again, and some lovely playing, some great solos…also Simon did us proud again with some good songs, next time can we have Secret Love Simon??
Dave did well on the drums nice to see him, while Craig away. Ray on that piano a joy to hear, as were all the musicians we do appreciate the dedication of turning up each week to give us live music.
Lots of talking and again but suppose cannot stop that, we all chat, but some more than others! loudly! I could smell smoke at the end of the evening …apparently I did not see our chap who uses an e cigarette smoking but he was, even after a promise he would not do so! I was informed on the way home… hence probably why my throat bad, and people were sneezing! and poor Keith who was sitting in front of the chap was using his inhaler, so lets hope if he attends again, he will be banned from smoking that e cig inside…Spoils it for a lot of folk. I always think it is like the limit on the roads always someone who thinks they know better and can go whatever speed they like, sad to see yet another road accident yesterday, wish people would realise that the car is a killing machine, not the roads that are the problem it is the drivers, as I feel that cigarettes and e cigarettes are killers, passive smoking is not good.
My rant is over!
Thanks Heidi for your smile and hard work always a pleasure to have you behind that bar.
A good line up coming for next week so watch this space…
