Norfolk Dixieland Band

Yesterday, the Norfolk Dixieland Band played an extra gig at the 'Goat' Skeyton, and once again the place was packed full.

It is a great place for a meal as well as listening to the Band, and the word spreads each time, and however many times one goes, the meals and the friendly staff never let you down.

Thanks as always for taking me Tim, and the meal, so lovely to meet up with Jean and Judy and the gang as always. Hope you get to the Dr's Jean take care, get some wheels on those drums! Judy hope you got to see a repeat of the boat race!

We have to sit away from the band which play in the garden room, as people book to sit and eat and listen from one time to the next, so we wait until a table becomes clear so we can join in the band, but of course we can hear from the bar, and we can chat …

Sorry no photos, but they looked good as always in their blue shirts black trousers and yellow ties, great playing, and lovely to see Liz on the bass again, with Dad Peter guitar/banjo and that great voice…Vic on drums, John on cornet and vocals, Bill as lovely as ever on trombone, and of course Tim on clarinet and saxophone…

Thanks for a great day out.
