Last night we had a terrible electric thunderstorm sheets of white lightening everywhere.....and the rain pelted down, I was worried in case I had lost my flowers, but popped out very early this morning and took these, luckily so far not too much damage...........Not such lovely pics as both my boys produce, but I hope you enjoy them...the colours look much better for real.......

Those irises are gorgeous, especially with the water droplets on them.
And I would have said how amazed I am that the poppy survived the thunderstorm except that we just talked on the phone and you told me it came out just after the storm passed.
