Norfolk Dixieland Jazz Band

Yesterday the Norfolk Dixieland Jazz Band played a great session of music and vocals to a very happy audience at the Goat Skeyton…

Great weather so they played outside in the sunshine and it was packed out.

They provide a very tasty meal at the Goat … and always such friendly staff to look after everyone…

Sole Bay Jazz Fun night…

A big thank you to the Sole Bay Jazz Band that played for us last night at the 

Sports Pavilion Ditchingham…

We always have good talented musicians, and last night I think they excelled themselves, a really fun evening.

A very good crowd to support them as well nice to see so many there, and some new faces again…as well as out great regular fans…

Nice to see Craig back off holiday looking and sounding good…Peter came along and played a few numbers on Craig's drums, and then Craig came back and gave us some great enjoyment!!  so good that you all gelled so well…(you picked a good line up Alan when you look in)! ha ha you all certainly took off the second half… Great that you all managed to get through some of the numbers when Tim and Tony P decided to help out! (you had to be there to know what I am talking about)…

Well done Heidi once again you did a great job behind that bar.

Thanks to one and all for contributing to the raffle as I often say it helps with getting these musicians to play for us each week, and thanks to Jon for having us all there.

Hope all those not able to come along because of illness soon recover…

Wow that sounds great, nice to see Simon and Kevin back they are very busy and they will be appearing on the stage with Rod Stewart soon… Tony P always a pleasure to see and hear him, as well as Tim who is our main man on a Thursday night, nice to see Craig back and dear Tony J magic fingers on that bass…

So hope to see a good crowd to support these talented musicians, who we are so lucky to have so close to home, make sure you bring your raffle money folks as the entry is free but I will be along to help relieve you of some money which goes toward the different line up we get each week…

River Walk…

Just come back from a nice walk along the river bank and the marshes with Jan… lovely breeze and sunshine what more could one want…

Garden…

Just wandered around the garden between showers of rain…You can see I keep out of mischief with all this to do, but love it really…

The wind is spoiling the flowers however captured a few…

Yet another great night of Live Music from the Sole Bay Jazz gang…

Great night from all the talented band… Some different music once again how do they manage to remember them all!

Unfortunately Tim had to retire for home after half time, fighting a cold and upset tum… so hope he is feeling better today… But he played a great first half…Also Heidi feeling under the weather, but as always managing a smile even though she was so hot…Hope all goes well today Heidi and Happy Birthday…

However we had Simon on hand and he performed in the first half, and like a trooper did some more numbers in the second to help the front line, and mmm love Miss Jones Simon!

Nice that several solos came forth in the second half those tinkling ivories and the fingers on that double bass amongst many, and oh Dave didn't you do well on the drums thank you, very serious but very good, Alan as always guitar and banjo working merrily along… Bill S how great it is to hear you and that lovely feeling you put into your music…Bill B you are getting so good really one of the gang…

A good night and a great crowd, our regular fans and so many new faces, hope you all enjoyed it and will visit again…
