Good morning Jazzers…

 Thanks to those who did manage to get to the Sole Bay Jazz live music night, and a huge thank you for those who take JJ and me each time. 

I appreciate how hard it is now a lot of us are older but who love the Jazz nights. as we love to support these fine musicians , sadly only about 40 there last evening, but as always those 5 musicians and two singers, gave us a great evening as always.

Thanks to Clover (hope you soon feel better Christine) Janice for the ticket folding…Fudge for the fun raffle… Kelly for the bar work…

Sorry also that my Halloween evening didn't get noticed on here, but us on the Coven table as always had a great time…food and pumpkins, lights, sadly we none of us could find our witches hats… but Neil managed to find his.  Never to old  to enjoy a laugh. 

Thanks as always to Fudge for the great photos… Tony for driving a long way to do the videos, but you know how we all love them.

Halloween night!

• I called this week Halloween, as we always used to try and make it a special night, especially the table I always called the Coven table, where I am now part of, sadly not as many left now, but l hope that we can mange to get there, and think of everyone who  used to be at the Jazz nights…

I did post this in a past post, and I do hope the following photos bring back memories and no doubt will be told off as some are not great, think it was when I had my old camera. But the clear ones were probably taken by Neil.

Our Craig or Chipperson as Tim calls him! Great Dummer Great friend and a great Son to his Mum…he has a Brother who is not well at the moment so sending good health to him.. Craig is also a very good Gardener!

HAVE A GREAT DAY YOUNG CRAIG, AND KNOW THIS IS FROM ALL THE BAND AND THE JAZZERS .

Great night of Jazz…

Good morning Jazzers, late on here this morning… but got some lovely photos thanks as always to Fudge…

Really good evening of good old Jazz with the Sole Bay, and nice to see a better crowd, and also some new folk looking in, spoke to one of the young ladies and she said they would come again… so hoping we can encourage more to come and listen to these talented musicians.  

Nice for Kelly as a busier bar this week …Thanks to Chris and Clover for the raffle and Janice for folding the tickets!!! Fudge as always making it fun…and of course Tim thinking up new names for the colour of the tickets!!!

Thanks as always for JJ for organising our lifts and the lovely folk that ferry us back and forth. as so good to meet up with our lovely friends…a pleasure to hear the Jazz.

Sad…

 Sadly another of our lovely family of Jazzers has passed away this morning, so joining those of those already up there looking down on us.

Thanks to Duncan for letting me know that his Brother Colin has passed this morning, and he wanted me to pop it on here.

I only put a photo up the other day with Colin on, and I have found two lovely ones of the brothers from way back. One serious  (which they hardly ever were) Because we all had such great fun at the jazz, I was always taking photos in those days Of those two and Don as well.

Lovely memories and sending the biggest hug Duncan as I know how much you will miss him.

 Good morning Jazzers… This popped up on  my Face Book Memories today, so hope it brings back some memories for those who used to come to the band in those evenings …

Jazz night

 Good morning Jazzers…

Thanks to Sandy and Neil who gave JJ and me lifts back and forth to jazz last evening . 

Good job we did get there as not many folk last night, and I suppose now the dark cooler evenings are on their way it will be a lot harder for us oldies to be able to attend. But I do hope that we get some younger folk coming along to hear the Sole Bay Jazz music as we are so lucky to have such talented musicians  that play for us each week, and meeting up with good friends.

Thanks Clover for the raffle, plus Janice folding those tickets, and Fudge who keeps us all on our toes with fun… Kelly always smiling at the bar, mmmm bit of a slow night for you, but then we had more of your company with us.

It was a different evening with a lot of singing! and for me some music that I was not that keen on as love the trad Jazz, but everyone did well. and I am a bit set in my old ways!!!
