Morning Jazzers

 GOOD MORNING. Well seems the line up at Jazz last night was rather different in the end, sorry, although Alan did mail me to say about the changes, I was not on my computer, so did not see it until too late. So hopefully will get it right for next week!!!

So the line up was Rob Masters on Drums not Craig…Bill Brewer not Martin Eaton on the front line, but Tim, Ray and Alan and Mick were playing well by the look of Fudges photos,  Also Barry was there singing…sadly I was unable to go last night, but looking forward to Tony's videos…

So thanks to Fudge for the photos…

Morning Jazzers  This just popped in my memories on Face Book… from 6 years ago…

Another great Jazz night…

 Good morning Jazzers… Another really lovely entertaining evening of live music from the Sole Bay Jazz Band and friends…

Thanks as always to Fudge for her even more clever photos, she really gets great shots.

Not many folk there again last evening, mainly due to illness,  one short on line up…as a little mix up about Phil Brooke who was not there, but we had all sorts of music and lovely violin playing, different sounds from Ray on the piano, lovely melodies… we had harmonica playing , singing from Barry with different melodies, very good, Alan on Banjo and guitar…Not at the same time! Mick with  the bass are really great, Craig had some blasts on those drums and Fudge caught a great photo, Tim of course as usual on Clarinet and Saxophone, again not at the same time.

Thanks to good company, lovely friends there, sad that I stayed away so long, thanks to those who said they look in on the blog as well.

Another good raffle, and John back behind the bar for a while.

Morning Jazzers…

 Good morning, A good night at Ditchingham with the Sole Bay Jazz Band.

Sadly quite a few folk were missing due to being ill, hope that next week they all will be better.

A few new faces I noticed, but not many to hear the great music, so hopefully my return has not put people off!

Clover and Christine were busy with the raffle, with Janice folding the tickets…and the lovely young lady behind the bar was working well, sorry need to find her name, keep forgetting to ask! Well thanks again to Fudge she tells me it is Kelly, good job I have her to help this old woman's brain.

Tony as always on the video, phew missed a beat of the heart when the camera fell over!!!

Sadly as well Bill Brewer was unable to play, so hopefully he will come along as soon as he is able. Miss the trombone in the front line, Means also Tim has to work a lot harder! But still a pleasure to hear the music he can produce.  All the band played so well again, such a pleasure to listen to.

But Barry sang some great songs, and an Elvis one which went down well!

Also I was happily surprised that Ash Weaver who is a regular at the jazz, actually plays the drums very well!  amazing how many people are talented and not known to us, well done.

Mark Read gave us a song! and played the trumpet…also Geoff Harriman gave us music from his Harmonica.
