Sole Bay Jazz Band

 Morning Jazzers… well looks like some people managed to get petrol to get to the gig last evening, sadly a lot more cannot get to work by car this morning but thank goodness for buses!

But by Fudges photos looks like all the band got there, will await a review if anyone gets in touch about how it all went…

Stay safe there is a lot of Covid still out there! too close to home here as well!!! But life must go on…

Thanks Fudge for letting me know a good night was had by all… lots of upbeat music and some blues ones… mmm sounds good… not so many there but of course Petrol may have been  a reason for that…

 

Wishing Fudge and whoever else is running the London Marathon… a safe run, will be looking in to see if can spot her!!!

Sole Bay Jazz Night…

 Have not heard much yet how Monday night with the Sole Bay Jazz Band went…but have got photos from Fudge…so it looks like a fun night…

 I will pop on some memories from Face Book of jazz that have turned up and then add those from Fudge…Any news from you about how you enjoyed the night let me know…

We have Covid in part of the family so I am extra aware, how sad when a child  has to isolate and parents are wary of catching it , so stay safe everyone. Enjoy yourselves but still be cautious.

Had to put the photo of Fudge …Robin and Byron who ran the Great North Run on Sunday well done to them and all who ran …from the TV no idea how everyone knows which way to go, but seems a good lot of money has been raised for Charity.

Just a little reminder …as know a lot of folk do not believe in wearing masks or keeping their distance in enclosed spaces , because the government said it was not compulsory … however stay safe… as this Covid and with the  Flu bug coming, we need to keep on our guard.

Sole Bay Jazz Band…

 Good morning Jazzers, bit late on here this week, but as I have not attended the jazz have to rely on others to let me know how it goes, The Blog helps people who do not do Face Book…As the more the merrier with advertising the Band.

So thanks to Tony this week for some script and Fudge for the photographs.

Tony says it was a great evening, excellent crowd  someone said over 50 attended. (hopefully you were all wearing masks when walking about…  and going to the bar. I know Clover and Christine were, we must make sure everyone feels safe, as this Covid is still rather risky even with the vaccine). Especially in enclosed spaces…I do remember how people moaned about draught from open doors! but needs must.

Thanks to Christine and Clover for raffle and for you all digging deep … Emily for her always lovely smile behind the bar as well.

Barry and Janice added some great singing, and if you can get on FB Tony has done some videos, sadly no idea how I could get them on here, … sorry if this is not a lot of news, but know some of you look in…and miss the nights out as I do.

I hope all those who cannot now attend and pop in here are all keeping well, sending best of health to you all. Thank you to all who do contact me. I appreciate it.
