Spring has sprung?

 A few snaps from the garden,  did not realise how much wants doing out there, mmm new patios???

Good morning Jazzers

 Snow …Ice …freezing weather… then summer temperatures! No wonder with Covid around, mental and physical health suffers… 

But we must look on the bright side, as we may soon be able to meet up with a few people face to face… Just hope all those who do not believe there is anything wrong will try and keep social distance, so us who have been stuck in self isolation for over a year can get out and about again, and listen to live music!

It has been a sad week for me as last Thursday I had to send my 16 year old cat to his forever sleep, thank you to all who either sent messages or phoned ,…I was a bit of a wreck, but knew the time had come. Luckily I had a good young lady vet nurse who could not have been nicer so was able to have some time before we said our farewells, she got the box of tissues ready as soon as I got there. So hope he is up there with all the other pets we have all had to say farewell to.

Neil has come up with some blast from the past photos, and I had a couple of the Sole Bay memories come up on Face Book …must have put plenty on there as most of the memories are about the jazz!!!!!

Simon Nelson with Dixie Mix… provided, as Alistair does, a nice hour of live music so good to see and hear the boys playing again, not sure if the little grab of photo I have done is any good but  hopefully you can see face book is nice some of the time, as it enables us to keep in touch.

Good Morning Jazzers

 Thursday once again and still no live music to go to!!!! but I believe we must keep our fingers crossed that in the future all the venues will be able to open and live music will live again…Just hope we will still be able to be there!!!

Actually this evening Some of Dixie Mix are going to do what Alistair has been doing since last year… going live on face book so hope a nice lot will look in and support them…

I do hope you are all staying safe and most of you have already had the first vaccine if not the second, to try and keep this terrible virus away.

Have had a few chats with some of the gang, so know how a few people are…

Terry and Jenny have sent me some oldies for the giggle photos, thanks to them both much appreciated…will pop them on with a few I have found from the past…if Neil sends some will pop them on another time, think they have been busy decorating… 

 Wishing Fudge a Happy birthday for next week…Happy Birthday to David Taylor on the 23rd.

Valentine evening…

 Wow that was a great evening Alistair did us proud on Valentines night, such good singing and guitar playing, and lots of chat with the fans…Plus young Tom popping in to make us laugh …Keeps us all going… missing company and Jazz xx

Thursday Again…

 Good morning Jazzers… another week without our jazz!

Hope you are all keeping safe and well… Nice to hear from some of you, and Roy Symonds again sends his good wishes to you all, Jan sends her best as well, have not heard from JJ this week but will give her a ring today.

Thanks once again to Neil for some giggle photos… and one came on my face book so will pop that on to bring back some memories for you, and another little one from the old days.

Hopefully Simon of Dixie Mix is going to do a live Face book jazz hour next week the 18th at 7pm on there, so I am looking forward to that… if it turns out as good as Alistair's has been… it will be good.

Some Jazz ……some Norwich Cathedral …as the Peregrines are starting to get ready for another season up there on the spire…so the world goes on… and we pray that we will all be soon getting back to live music.
