"Oh what a night it was …it really was such a night"
What more needs saying think it was one of the best, always have really good nights but sometimes one just stands out, and last night I think everyone would agree it was rather one of those special ones.!!
Tim said at the beginning it was a night dedicated to Tony Parsons our dear friend who sadly has gone to join our other jazzers up there in the sky, hope you enjoyed it Tony as you were worth it…will be sadly missed our love goes to your family …
Every one worked so hard to make it a good night of music and singing and it was really nice to hear and see the band enjoying themselves… what a really good evening of singing from Barry and Jenny, always a pleasure to hear Jenny sing again, and voice sounded so good, Barry managed to not be jinxed with our dodgy mike! well done to one and all you gave us some good memories. We also had Geoff coming along with his Harmonica well done to him as well.
Some great playing Tim…Trummy…Alan…Tony… and Ron what a super drummer you are .
Thanks Christine for the raffle, so sorry for your loss but you did well, thanks to our Don who folded all the tickets, and Tim reading out the many coloured ones!!!!
Emily smiling as always behind the bar…
So nice to see such a good crowd and some new faces as well…
Hope all those who are not well will be able to join us again soon…and all those on holiday have fun…
Did not manage to grab a decent photo of all the band but Fudge has on FB.

I have heard today that Tony Parsons our lovely jazz man has sadly passed away, I am putting it on here as last week we heard that Douglas had passed away and it was upsetting on the night as no one had been told beforehand, so I know Tim will mention it on Thursday evening but at least you will be aware of it.
What a lovely man Tony was and he battled so long to get back to health, we will be thinking of his lovely family and sending our condolences to them all.
Joining all our other jazz men looking down at us from up there in the sky they will always be in our hearts.
