Golden Wedding cake (another!)

Pat and Paddy said I could put the cake on here even before the "do" so here it is...they were thrilled with it... hope they like the taste.....

Browston Hall

Yesterday, I went with Derek Jan and Liz for a meal .... thanks Derek for the treat , and Jan for driving, and Liz for the sweet laughs you know what I mean.....
This is Browston Hall, nice place, I had never been before, nice meal as well...they have so many facilities there indoor bowling being one of them....well used as well by the amount of folk there.....

Of course there were great trees, and I love trees... the Lion is looking after them....and we had for a short time lovely sunshine.....

And of course as Dive is always saying look up...... I did and what bliss...

I asked if I could take a picture of the ceilings and hope you can imagine how lovely they are.....

Seagulls and roses......

I know this does not look a great photo, but whilst walking from Pakefield to Lowestoft yesterday in the wind and sunshine, spotted these seagulls having a drink from the puddles in the car park..sorry seagulls we did not have fish and chips yesterday!!!

More roses, aren't I the lucky one......this photo is really for Bev and Anthony, taken the hint yet Anthony??????

Jazz at Flixton

Great night with the Sole Bay Jazz band last night at our new venue Flixton Buck....we had several more players join in ..but it was so crowded so could not get too many photo's..and I have missed the drummer off I see....

We had a lady on the banjo wo was really good.. great music, and good friends, amazing how music pulls people in the venues....Ivan and I are always made to feel welcome.. the wood fire smells so good as well, takes you right back to childhood.....

We have not had anything from the racket of late Dive want some more from you.....

My dear Joyce asked her family to send me something to say thank you for all I do for her, she is such a lovely lady, and I cannot wait for her to come home again after her operation, still she is getting well looked after at her brother and sister in laws house, best thing having an ex nurse in the family....well thank you Joyce, they have made two vases full....the lilies have now come out and smell delicious..

And this is really a bit premature as the wedding this present is for is not yet, but do not think the recipients will be looking on here. I hope anyway.... Ivan made this for them and it is gorgeous you cannot see the real beauty of the bowl on here, but think they should be really pleased, clever chap isn't he..mmm wonder if I can persuade him to make one for me!!!!!

CAKES AGAIN

The above is a cake I made for my sister in law Jeannie and her great grandson.. apparently it went down well!

This is one of the hardest decorations I have had a go at, not exactly AI but I tried and they were really pleased with it, which is the main thing....
